Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln lost against Roosevelt back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell just short of the Rough Riders by a score of 2-1.

Roosevelt found their leader in freshman Natalie Vasquez, who had 25 digs. Those 25 digs set a new season-high mark for Vasquez.

Lincoln has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Roosevelt, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Garfield on the 25th. As for Roosevelt, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Artesia on the 23rd.
