Volleyball Recap: Virginia Academy Comes Up Short

Virginia Academy lost against Evergreen Christian back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots fell 3-1 to the Eagles. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Virginia Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Evergreen Christian work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 26-24, 25-8.

Virginia Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Evergreen Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Coincidentally, Virginia Academy and Evergreen Christian will both be playing Christ Chapel Academy the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face Christ Chapel Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Patriots will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st.
