Platte County won the last time they faced Raytown and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Pirates were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Bluejays. Considering the Pirates have won ten games by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Raytown, they dropped their record down to 3-17 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.
