Volleyball Recap: Mountain Ridge Sentinels vs. Bingham Miners        
        
		
             It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mountain Ridge had no problem doing just that  on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Bingham Miners out  3-2. The  victory was nothing new for the Sentinels as they're now sitting on four straight.
 Mountain Ridge took Bingham into a fifth set  where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 20-25, 17-25,  15-13.
 Mountain Ridge got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Ava Livolsi out in front who  had 19  digs. Livolsi is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 11 or more in the last three games she's  played.
 Bingham's loss  came despite strong showings from  Jessica Truong and  Mckenna Lambson.  Truong  had 24  digs and two  aces, while  Lambson  had seven  digs and 28  assists.
 Mountain Ridge has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record  this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to  aces: they averaged an imposing zero  aces in those games compared to only zero in the others. As for Bingham, their loss dropped their record down to 19-11.
 Mountain Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-2  defeat against Lone Peak on the 8th. Bingham has also  already played their next contest,  a  2-1  loss against Skyridge on the 8th.
