Volleyball Recap: Green Hope Starts Season with Victory Against Wake Forest

Green Hope gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. Everything went their way against the Wake Forest Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14, 25-17.

Taylor Bruce paced Green Hope's offense, picking up ten kills. Bruce got some help from Chloe Burbage and her 30 assists. Andrea Munoz Gonzalez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Green Hope has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Leesville Road on the 12th. As for Wake Forest, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Rolesville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
