Soccer Recap: Leander Takes a Loss

Leander was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Vista Ridge Rangers, falling 4-0. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rangers from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Leander's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-2. As for Vista Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Leander face off against the Pflugerville at 11:50 a.m. on Thursday. Pflugerville has yet to allow a single goal through five games this season, a streak Leander will look to end. As for Vista Ridge, they will take on Fredericksburg in a tournament on Thursday.
