Basketball Recap: Loop Takes a Loss

Loop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They took a 38-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dawson Dragons. The Longhorns were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2025.

Loop's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Dawson, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 5-9 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Loop will face off against Sands at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Dawson, they will square off against Klondike at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.92 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
