Basketball Recap: Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Comes Up Short

Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They came up short against the Park Rapids Panthers on Thursday, falling 63-42. The Rebels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 67-63.

Park Rapids got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Carroll out in front who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Carroll is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Hunter, who went 8-for-13 en route to 19 points and eight rebounds.

Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Park Rapids, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 8-9.

Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 69-50 loss against Kindred on the 8th. As for Park Rapids, they have also already played their next contest, a 71-63 defeat against Bemidji on the 11th.
