Volleyball Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss

Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Star-Spencer Bobcats. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Star-Spencer, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, Marshall will venture away from home to take on Seminole at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Star-Spencer will be paying especially close attention to the Bears' matchup: after the Bears face off against the Chieftains, they'll take on Star-Spencer again at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
