Even though the Franklin Knights scored an imposing 68 points on Friday, the Mars Fightin' Planets still came out on top. Mars managed a 74-68 win over Franklin. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mars also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Mars got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Ceh out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Campbell, who scored 20 points.

Mars' win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Mars will take on Sharon at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Franklin, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Grove City at 7:15 p.m.
