Basketball Recap: Chazy Picks Up Eighth Straight Win on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Moriah, Chazy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Lake Placid Bombers by a score of 35-28. The score was all tied up 13-13 at the break, but the Eagles were the better team in the second half.

Chazy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaelyn Rentas, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Carly LaPierre, who posted 12 points and eight boards.

Lake Placid's loss came despite strong showings from Ellie Shipman and Anisa Cecunjanin. Shipman had 14 points, while Cecunjanin put up nine points.
