Softball Recap: Calvary Chapel Takes a Loss

Calvary Chapel's last matchup with Capistrano Valley Christian could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Grizzlies came up short against the Eagles, falling 11-0. The Grizzlies haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Calvary Chapel's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Chapel will take on Western Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Fighting Lancers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Grizzlies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, they will welcome Southlands Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Southlands Christian's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Capistrano Valley Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
