Softball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Washington's offense. They came up short against the Shawnee Mission South Raiders on Tuesday, falling 15-0. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Coming up, Washington will welcome Leavenworth at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The PIONEERS have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.57 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. Shawnee Mission South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
