Softball Recap: Steele Canyon Falls Short of Eastlake in the Playoffs

Steele Canyon and Eastlake squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Steele Canyon had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of 3-2. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Ily Barclay made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Steele Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 16-13-1. As for Eastlake, they moved to 17-11-1 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Steele Canyon nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
