Baseball Recap: Middlesboro Takes a Loss

Middlesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Harlan County Black Bears, falling 15-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Black Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Monday.

Middlesboro's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Harlan County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-6-1 record this season.

Middlesboro has already played their next contest (against Hancock County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Harlan County, they will square off against Clay County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
