Volleyball Recap: Billingsley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Billingsley lost against Thorsby last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bears fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 3-2. While the Bears didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rebels 25-19 in the first set.

Billingsley actually scored more points across those five sets (98-96), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 12-25, 25-18, 25-23, 15-7.

Billingsley's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Thorsby, their win ended a five-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-7.

Billingsley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Maplesville on the 23rd. As for Thorsby, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Marbury on the 23rd.
