Basketball Recap: Gatesville Comes Up Short

Gatesville lost against Troy back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Gatesville Hornets were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 32-31 to the Troy Trojans. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gatesville's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Troy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Gatesville has already played their next matchup, a 38-31 loss against Skidmore-Tynan on the 28th. As for Troy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 38-28 defeat against Belton on the 28th.
