Liberty has gone 9-1 against Fountain-Fort Carson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lancers will face off against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Fountain-Fort Carson took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Liberty, who comes in off a win.

Liberty's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They came out on top against Pueblo West by a score of 2-0. Jesse Guinn had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Liberty.

Meanwhile, Fountain-Fort Carson came up short against Pine Creek on Thursday, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Fountain-Fort Carson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 124th, while Pine Creek are ranked 15th).

Fountain-Fort Carson's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5-2. As for Liberty, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-4.

Liberty beat Fountain-Fort Carson by a goal in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lancers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
