Soccer Game Preview: Providence Academy vs. King's Academy

Providence Academy are taking a road trip to take on the King's Academy Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Friday just wasn't the day for Providence Academy's offense. They came up short against Christian Academy of Knoxville on Friday, falling 3-0. Providence Academy has struggled against Christian Academy of Knoxville recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between King's Academy and Webb, and Webb kept the tradition alive. King's Academy lost 4-1 to Webb on Thursday.

King's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Providence Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Providence Academy beat King's Academy 2-0 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Providence Academy since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
