Football Recap: Jacksonville Keeps Anniston's Under Pressure

Jacksonville was the 28-22 winner over Anniston when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Eagles took an 18-3 bruising from the Bulldogs on Thursday. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even if they lost, Jacksonville's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

Jacksonville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Anniston, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

As of now, neither Jacksonville nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
