Basketball Recap: TPLS Christian Academy Takes a Loss

If TPLS Christian Academy was feeling good fresh off their 88-54 takedown of Life Christian Academy two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The TPLS Christian Academy Lions took a 65-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans on Tuesday.

TPLS Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Veritas Collegiate Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-9.

When TPLS Christian Academy and Veritas Collegiate Academy next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. TPLS Christian Academy will face off against Rise Academy and their five-game winning streak at 1:00 p.m. on February 4th. Similarly, Veritas Collegiate Academy will try to stop The Carmel School's five-game winning streak when the meet at 5:00 p.m. on February 4th.
