Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Village Christian Academy Knights, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

While Trinity Christian was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Village Christian Academy's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-15.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Village Christian Academy, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Trinity Christian will face off against rival Northwood Temple Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Village Christian Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Freedom Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
