Baseball Recap: University School of Jackson Comes Up Short

University School of Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Franklin Admirals, falling 18-7.

Jackson Pugh and Braydin Jones stepped up to the plate in a big way. Pugh scored a run while going 2-for-2, while Jones scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Logan Foster was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

University School of Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Franklin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, University School of Jackson will be playing in front of their home fans against Huntingdon at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Franklin, they have already played their next matchup, a 14-0 win against Robertsdale on the 11th.
