Volleyball Recap: Bismarck Beats Valley for Their Fourth Straight Win

Bismarck came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Valley Vikings as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-13, 25-16.

Ashley Hawkins paced Bismarck's offense, picking up ten kills. Hawkins got some help from Kinsey Hubbs and her 25 assists. Hubbs was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Bismarck's victory bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Valley, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Bismarck will square off against Ste. Genevieve at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Valley, they will challenge Valle Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
