Baseball Recap: Red Oak Gets the Win

Red Oak took a 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against Creston, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Panthers 3-2. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Red Oak's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Creston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Red Oak wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-1 win against Nodaway Valley on the 30th. As for Creston, they have also already played their next game, a 6-5 loss against A-D-M on the 30th.
