Basketball Recap: Mitchell Chenier's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Loachapoka over Beulah

Loachapoka lost against Beulah two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Loachapoka Indians fell just short of the Beulah Bobcats by a score of 60-57.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mitchell Chenier, who went 7 of 10 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Tyner, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 15 points.

Loachapoka's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Beulah, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Loachapoka didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-42 defeat against Lanett on the 7th. Beulah has also already played their next matchup, a 72-40 loss against Glenwood on the 7th.
