Catskill strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Germantown Clippers 12-1.

Will Cummings and Cameron Newkirk made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Cummings pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Newkirk tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At bat, Cummings scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Newkirk scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Cummings is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

In other batting news, Catskill let Travis Bulich and John McKenna run wild. Bulich scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while McKenna scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Riley Street was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Catskill's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Germantown, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.
