Basketball Game Preview: Harriman Blue Devils vs. Knoxville Central Bobcats

The Harriman Blue Devils will venture away from home to face off against the Knoxville Central Bobcats at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Harriman will be strutting in after a win while Knoxville Central will be coming in after a defeat.

Harriman is headed into the game having just posted their biggest victory since February 24, 2024 on Friday. They blew past Rockwood, posting a 67-37 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Knoxville Central challenged Powell on Friday. Knoxville Central lost 63-37 to Powell. The Bobcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Harriman's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-5. As for Knoxville Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.

Harriman didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Knoxville Central in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 53-49 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Harriman since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
