Baseball Recap: Three Straight Road Wins for Highline

Highline barely beat Tyee the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pirates' pitchers stepped up to hand the Titans a 7-0 shutout on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Highline's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-11. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Tyee, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Highline will challenge rival Interlake at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Tyee is set to take on their familiar foe Renton at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
