Baseball Recap: Jemison Takes a Loss

Jemison and Briarwood Christian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Jemison had to settle for second. They lost 11-3 to the Lions. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Jemison's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Briarwood Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

Jemison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Briarwood Christian, they will challenge Charles Henderson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
