Volleyball Recap: South Gallia Comes Up Short

After flying high against East last Thursday, South Gallia came back down to earth. The Rebels lost 3-0 to the Valley Indians on Wednesday.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-10, 25-10.

South Gallia's offense was headlined by Gracie Harrison and Gracyn Null-Cremeens, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Carley Burdette and her three assists. Michaelanne Ours controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Valley found their leader in freshman Laylee McGraw, who had eight digs and four aces.

South Gallia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Valley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

South Gallia has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against St. Joseph Central on the 28th. As for Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Northwest on the 2nd.
