Baseball Recap: Piketon Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Piketon fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Westfall on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 6-4. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Piketon's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3. As for Westfall, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, Piketon will host Wellston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westfall, they will face off against Miami Trace at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
