Softball Game Preview: Hinsdale South Hornets vs. Glenbard West Hilltoppers

The Hinsdale South Hornets are taking a road trip to take on the Glenbard West Hilltoppers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hinsdale South is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Hinsdale South lost 10-3 to Nazareth Academy on Monday.

Alex Kuhlman was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Glenbard West was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They came up short against Willowbrook, falling 11-2.

Hinsdale South's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Glenbard West, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Hinsdale South couldn't quite finish off Glenbard West in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 and fell 2-0. Can the Hornets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
