Baseball Recap: Moore Catholic Takes a Loss

The Moore Catholic Mavericks came up short against the Boys Latin Lakers on Friday and fell 11-8. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

TODD VIERRA was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. CAESER FIGUEROA was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Moore Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Boys Latin, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Coincidentally, Moore Catholic and Boys Latin will both be playing St. Stephen's & St. Agnes the next time they take the field. Moore Catholic will head out to face St. Stephen's & St. Agnes at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Boys Latin will head out to face them at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
