Basketball Recap: Fond du Lac Ojibwe O Takes a Loss

Fond du Lac Ojibwe O was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 75-59 fall against the Red Lake Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Ogichida of the 87-79 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Fond du Lac Ojibwe O's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Red Lake, they pushed their record up to 2-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fond du Lac Ojibwe O will head out to face off against Ogilvie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Red Lake, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Clearbrook-Gonvick at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
