Baseball Recap: North East Comes Up Short

North East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 14-4 to the Elkton Golden Elks. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Elks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

North East's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Elkton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5-1.

While North East had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Monday.
