Basketball Game Preview: Denmark vs. South Forsyth War Eagles

Denmark and South Forsyth are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. Denmark are taking a road trip to challenge the South Forsyth War Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Denmark will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Last Tuesday, Denmark came up short against West Forsyth and fell 64-52. While losing is never fun, Denmark can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 397th, while West Forsyth is ranked 155th).

Meanwhile, South Forsyth suffered their closest loss since February 13th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Forsyth Central by a score of 60-58.

South Forsyth has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Denmark, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Denmark suffered a grim 71-49 defeat to South Forsyth when the teams last played back in January. Can Denmark avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
