Volleyball Recap: Eagle Rock Comes Up Short

Eagle Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Notre Dame (SO) Knights. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

While Eagle Rock was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-15.

Eagle Rock's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Notre Dame (SO), the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle Rock will take on Cleveland at 4:30 p.m. on March 13th. As for Notre Dame (SO), they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Oak Park at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
