Baseball Recap: Clearview Comes Up Short

Kingsway hit Clearview with a four-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Pioneers fell 7-3 to the Dragons. Pioneers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Dragons since Tuesday.

Clearview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sawyer Wood, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Clearview's loss dropped their record down to 15-5-2. As for Kingsway, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clearview will square off against Gloucester County Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kingsway, they will face off against St. Joseph at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
