Baseball Recap: Hereford Drops Season-High Score on Western Tech & Environmental Science

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hereford). They put the hurt on the Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines with a sharp 19-3 win on Tuesday. The Bulls haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Hereford's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Western Tech & Environmental Science, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Hereford will take on Towson on Thursday. As for Western Tech & Environmental Science, they will head out to take on Loch Raven at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.33 runs per game on average), something the Wolverines will no doubt try to take advantage of.
