Softball Recap: Brazos Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Brazos's offense. They came up short against the East Bernard Brahmas on Tuesday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Cougars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Brazos has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15-1 record this season. As for East Bernard, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Brazos is set to face off against their familiar foe Hitchcock at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, East Bernard will take on rival Boling at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in the Brahmas' favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Bulldogs have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
