Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Granby Memorial). They were the clear victor by a 54-32 margin over the Windsor Locks Raiders on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bears also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Windsor Locks' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maeve McGinnis, who posted six points along with six boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jocelyn Rivera, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Granby Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Windsor Locks, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-10.

Granby Memorial will square off against Somers at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Windsor Locks, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-18 win against Classical Magnet on the 30th.
