Baseball Recap: Clearwater Valley Rams vs. Genesee Bulldogs

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Clearwater Valley and Genesee have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Saturday. The Rams blew past the Bulldogs 19-1. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Josh Gardner made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Gardner was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Clearwater Valley is undefeated when Gardner posts two or more runs, but 7-9 otherwise.
