Basketball Recap: Herndon Falls to Tuscarora in First Game of Season

Herndon had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a hard 65-47 fall against the Tuscarora Titans. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

The victory got Tuscarora back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Herndon will venture away from home to challenge Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tuscarora, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Manchester Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
