After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Wilson Area finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They came up short against Marian Catholic, falling 12-1. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Wilson Area's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Marian Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Wilson Area has already played their next matchup, a 9-3 defeat against Bangor on the 31st. As for Marian Catholic, they are taking a road trip to square off against Shenandoah Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shenandoah Valley has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.8 runs per game on average), something Marian Catholic will no doubt try to take advantage of.
