Gloucester City's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan James, who scored 13 points along with five assists and two steals. Marcus Flagg was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds.
Even though they lost, Gloucester City smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Haddon Heights has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Gloucester City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Haddon Heights will take on Haddonfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Haddonfield is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Gloucester City, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Woodbury at 5:30 p.m. on January 25th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Woodbury is ranked 272nd, while Gloucester City is ranked 286th).
