Buckingham Charter is 1-9 against Sacramento Adventist since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Buckingham Charter Knights will be staying on the road to face off against the Sacramento Adventist Capitals at 7:30 p.m. on January 20th.

Buckingham Charter suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 71-26 loss at the hands of Western Sierra Collegiate Academy. While losing is never fun, Buckingham Charter can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1251st, while Western Sierra Collegiate Academy is ranked 472nd).

Meanwhile, Sacramento Adventist scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Cristo Rey, posting a 66-20 victory at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Sacramento Adventist has posted yet this season.

Buckingham Charter's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-8. As for Sacramento Adventist, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-12.

Buckingham Charter took a serious blow against Sacramento Adventist in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 73-38. Thankfully for Buckingham Charter, Braeden Beaman (who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 12 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
