Volleyball Game Preview: Harvard Hornets vs. Richmond-Burton Rockets

Harvard hasn't had much luck against Richmond-Burton recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Hornets will be playing at home against the Rockets at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Monday, Harvard didn't have quite enough to beat Hiawatha and fell 2-1.

While Harvard ultimately came up short, they really made Hiawatha work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-21, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Richmond-Burton came up short against Lakes on Monday and fell 2-0.

Richmond-Burton was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 26-24.

Richmond-Burton's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Harvard, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.
