Volleyball Recap: Montebello Gets the Win

Montebello won the last time they faced Bell Gardens and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Montebello Oilers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bell Gardens Lancers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Oilers.

Montebello had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-21.

Montebello now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Bell Gardens, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-7.
