Volleyball Recap: Legacy Lightning vs. Grandview Wolves

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Legacy can now relate to. They came up short against the Grandview Wolves on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Lightning were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Grandview scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-19.

Rafael Urbina paced Legacy's offense, picking up nine kills. Urbina really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with 23. He was also a major player on defense: he and he shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.

Reese Dixon was the offensive standout of the contest as he had nine digs and two assists.
